Students

Call for prospective PhD students: If you have a strong quantitative background (having completed, for example, a Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, or biology) and are interested in pursuing a PhD in Applied Biostatistics, Medical Statistics and/or Quantitative Epidemiology, feel free to contact me for a discussion on PhD opportunities at the Lab of Biostatistics.

The Biostatistics Lab in the Medical School of the University of Crete offers unique opportunities for doctoral candidates to grow their horizons in applied medical research and academic teaching. Our supervisory approach is committed to supporting our students in building professional skills such as communication in statistical advising, collaborative experience, and project management. Funding for taking up teaching assistant roles and travel funds to present research work at conferences are regularly available.
