Delighted to join the Editorial Board of Public Health in Practice, a new official journal of the The Royal Society for Public Health published by Elsevier.
My research methods tutorial "Distinguishing Between Confounders and Effect Modifiers Using Stratified Analysis and Logistic Regression: A Case Study in Health Care Epidemiology" has just appeared online in SAGE Research Methods Cases.
Because of the situation of emerging COVID-19 in Europe, the 2nd EUCIC basic course scheduled from 29th of March to 3rd of April 2020 in Groningen (NL) has to be cancelled and postponed to autumn. In consequence, the first EUCIC advanced course in Crete (GR) on surveillance scheduled from 7-9 May 2020 will be postponed too.
This is one of the advanced modules of the wider Course on Infection Prevention and Control organized by the European Committee on Infection Control (EUCIC). The module is hosted in Heraklion by the Medical School at the University of Crete and coordinated by Professors Achilleas Gikas and Evangelos Kritsotakis.
This course is organized by the European Committee on Infection Control (EUCIC). Trainees will have the opportunity to be taught face-to-face by top experts from different academic centers in Europe, who will cover all major aspects of infection prevention and control in the hospital.
